 Shadowbrook is a 127 town home
community nestled in the trees of southern Fairfax County, Virginia.
This quiet family community is just south of the Capital Beltway. Built in
three phases, the first which was completed in 1992 followed by phase two
in 1994 and phase three in 1996.
The community is conveniently located to metro
rail, Virginia Railway Express and provides an easy commute to Washington
Metropolitan area employment centers.
Close to schools that have been awarded the
national school of excellence. Schools located in Shadowbrook zoned
area are Saratoga Elementary, Key
Middle School and Robert E. Lee High School.
Close to shopping, restaurants, Fairfax County Parks
and Recreational Facilities.
Located just seventeen miles from downtown Washington, DC, and National Airport. Minutes from Springfield
Mall and the Springfield Interchange also known the Mixing Bowl with easy
access to I-395 and the Beltway.
NEW TRASH
COMPANY – NEW TRASH PICK-UP SCHEDULE.
Our new trash contract with
American Disposal Services began on December 1, 2007. Just a reminder, our
new schedule is as follows:
TUESDAY – Trash
and Recycling FRIDAY – Trash and Bulk items
Please have your waste and
recycle at curbside by 6AM. And remember no trash or recycling may be
placed at the curb before 5PM the night before.
They do not operate on
Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s day.
We hope that you will be able to
attend all of the HOA quarterly meetings in 2008. Please keep checking the Calendar of Events page for
dates, location and times of the meetings, as well as other important
community information. We would also like to hear from you, get your
feedback, hear your concerns or answer any questions that arise in between
meetings. For that purpose, we encourage you to use the Resident Input/Comment page. Or you
